Ann is a Washington transplant spreading hair-magic all over West Michigan and beyond for over a decade. Inspired by a habit and a dream, Ann and her husband Nick created Palace Flophouse sitting in a Detroit airport. 8 months later… their magic came to life.

1. Ann’s first name is Andrea.

2. Ann once took a greyhound bus from Seattle to Grand Rapids after missing her flight home. It took four days, she would not recommend. Ask about her misadventures!

1. She just moved to Grand Rapids from Northern Illinois with her family. Her favorite part has been the local art scene and the natural beauty in the area.

2. Her favorite hobbies include reading, traveling, drawing, thrifting, and seeing live music.

3. She watches Buffy the Vampire Slayer at least once a year, usually around Halloween.

4. She has been collecting and buying records with their husband for so long that they have a collection of almost 1000 vinyl records.
